1.3 Winners and runners-up shall receive an appropriate memento/award of the achievement as decided by the Management Committee.
1.4 All players entering Bowls Jersey National Competitions and on reaching the finals must play in Bowls Jersey Finals, Channel Isles Finals and British Isles Championship Finals failing to do so will mean disqualification the following year.
2. Other Island Competitions (exclusively for ladies)
2.1 Seniors (over 60’s) Singles: – For bowlers 60 years of age or over on 31st January. Qualifies for Channel Islands finals;
2.2 Fixed date knockout Singles: – A weekend knockout singles competition. Format may vary depending on number of entries. Challenger in the first game to provide the marker, thereafter the losing player of a game marks the next game;
2.3 Singles KO Sets: Played over the course of the season in sets format. The challenger to provide the marker.
3. Other Island Competitions (exclusively for men)
3.1 Seniors (over 60’s) Singles: For bowlers 60 years of age or over on 31st January. Qualifies for Channel Islands finals;
3.2 Singles KO Sets: – Played over the course of the season in sets format. The challenger to provide the marker;
3.3 Fixed date knockout Singles: – A weekend knockout singles competition. First to 21 shots. The challenger in the first game to provide the marker, thereafter the losing player of a game marks the next game;
4. Other Island Competitions (open to men and ladies)
4.1 Mixed knockout Pairs: Mixed Pairs competition. A man and lady in each team who need not be from the same club. The competition will be played during the course of the season under normal pairs rules. Qualifies for the Channel Islands finals;
4.2 Mixed Pairs round robin: A weekend mixed pairs tournament. A man and lady in each team who need not be from the same club. Format may vary depending on the number of entries:
4.3 Famous Grouse open pairs 2 wood: – A weekend round robin pair’s tournament. Format may vary depending on number of entries.
4.4 Open Novice Singles: -For bowlers who have not been playing for more than 4 complete years and have not won any Association singles event (excludes junior events).
4.5 Mixed Drawn Fours: The team is drawn and may consist of players from different clubs.
