Known as JBC, this club has been in existence for 110 years. The oldest club in the Channel Islands.
The club has gone from small beginnings, to become a very lively and popular place to be.
Situated high up on the edge of St Helier, we have amazing views, and we have amazing facilities.
The Bowling membership is now close to 140, all ages ranging from eight to ninety five!
We boast a lovely welcoming club house, fully equipped kitchen ( we now hold a restaurant licence)a fully loaded bar, and splendid locker rooms.
Outside, apart from a wonderful bowling surface, we have flower beds, and a lovely sunny decked area, where many hours are whiled away, watching some superb bowling.
We can boast lots of international success being brought home to the club over the years by various members who have represented Jersey at a very high level, and in many cases come home with honours.
The club is run solely on a voluntary basis, with the green keepers working very hard all year round to ensure the excellent surface. With our building committee ensuring everything is kept up to date and built and repaired. Members also man the bar are always willing to serve you a tipple or two. Also Catering members who make sure everyone is fed.
The Secretary and Treasurer who both work tirelessly for the club, and not to mention the Club Captain who has a very busy life within the club. The whole Committee and membership are always happy to help where ever they can.
We welcome many visitors to our club every summer, many come back year in year out, most go home with very fond memories of their time at JBC.
