St Brelade Bowls Club was formed in 1986 and is situated in the heart of the community, adjacent to Les Quennevais Sports Centre. St Brelade Bowls Club is a friendly club with a good social atmosphere, catering for junior and adult bowlers of all abilities.
The Club provides an opportunity for those who wish to compete at Club and/or Island level. The Club runs a number of leagues and knock out competitions, along with a monthly competition, usually held on the last Sunday of each month. In addition to these, the Club enters teams in the Island inter-leagues and Bowls Jersey competitions. The Club also hosts a number of visiting team each summer.
During the winter months, the Club is still active. Twice a week, members are able to participate in the Club’s short-mat and the Club’s Social Committee organizes bingo nights and other social gatherings.
Each year, the Club raises money for a nominated local charity.
