Medal confirmed at Atlantic Championships

Mixed emotions but a medal confirmed…..

The men’s Triples has a very tight game against Namibia with the game at 12-12 going into the last.  Unfortunately, the last end did not go their way and lost 14-12.

The men’s Pairs didn’t get off to the greatest starts finding themselves 8-3 down but dug deep to lead 11-10 with 2 ends to play. A fantastic 2 gave them a 13-10 lead into the last and kept Guernsey off comfortably to win 14-10. A fantastic achievement and a bronze medal assured.  They will now play Scotland once again in the semi finals.

Atlantic Rim day 5 session 3 update

We have a double qualification!!!

Chloe finished off her ladies singles campaign with a 21-11 win but unfortunately won’t qualify for world bowls, table to be confirmed.

Men’s Pairs have pulled off the miracle, after beating Scotland a routine 27-7 win helped their shot difference, IOM lost to Malta and a Wales draw with Botswana means they qualify for the playoffs by 5 shots!!!!!

Men’s Triples finished with a very comfortable 31-8 win against Switzerland to finish 2nd in their group and make the playoffs.

Confirmed draws will be posted when completed
