Purpose 

Bowls Jersey is committed to providing an inclusive, safe, and welcoming environment for  everyone involved in the sport. 

Scope 

This policy applies to players, coaches, officials, volunteers, staff, and spectators at all Bowls  Jersey activities. 

Code of Conduct 

This policy operates alongside the Bowls Jersey Code of Conduct. All participants must  comply with the Bowls Jersey Code of Conduct (2026). Breaches will be managed in line  with Bowls Jersey disciplinary procedures. 

Equality Commitment 

No person will be treated less favourably on the basis of age, disability, gender, race,  religion, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic. 

Inclusion in Practice 

Bowls Jersey will encourage participation, make reasonable adjustments where possible,  and ensure fair access to opportunities. 

Responsibilities 

Everyone has a responsibility to treat others with respect, challenge inappropriate  behaviour, and report concerns. 

Reporting Concerns 

Concerns should be reported to a team official or committee member and will be treated  seriously and confidentially. 

Breaches 

Any breach of this policy will be addressed under the Bowls Jersey Code of Conduct and  disciplinary procedures. 

Review 

This policy will be reviewed regularly to ensure it remains current and effective.

Bowls Jersey believes everyone has the right to enjoy bowls in a safe, fair, and inclusive  environment.
