Not the end we wanted to write nor the result that the boys will have wanted to see, but Jersey were edged out by Canada in the Quarter Finals of the Triples on the Gold Coast today.
We can only imagine how disappointed they must feel but hope both Malcolm and the ladies can dust themselves down and go medal chasing again in the next disciplines.
Regardless, Jersey remain proud of the showing the boys have put on on the Gold Coast and the “shock”waves they generated across Australian Media on our behalf. One Aussie rag even wrote that losing to Jersey “was a crisis”!
